The hinged Lateral “J” Brace by RCAI is indicated for patellar dislocations, chondromalacia, improper patellar tracking, and post operative patellar control. It features a tubular lateral “J” buttress to maintain proper alignment of the patella, while preventing lateral subluxation and dislocation. Two laterally attached straps are pulled medially for customized patellar control. Positioned in the medial and lateral sides of the brace to provide additional stabilization, are one steel hinge and one flexible hinge. Made of a breathable, latex-free neoprene, the brace provides therapeutic warmth while keeping the skin dry and comfortable.
