The RCAI Active Knee Brace with ROM Settings provides functional knee stabilization during walking or light athletic activities. The breathable airprene wrap provides flexibility, therapeutic warmth and comfort while the bilateral metal hinges provide stability and protect the knee from medial/lateral forces. The brace allows full range of motion with a hyperextension stop set at 0° and has flexion stop settings in 15° increments. The front wrap closure makes the brace easy to apply while providing a precise fit. The open popliteal area prevents irritation at the back of the knee.
The Active Knee Brace is suitable for patients with swelling or edema of the knee, geriatric patients or patients with difficulty applying traditional knee sleeves.
It is indicated for post surgery, following ligamentous injuries, knee instability and degenerative joint disease.
